The Regional Human Resources Director supports human resource operations across multiple facilities for an entire geographic region.
Oversees the implementation and execution of Human Resources policies and procedures for the region and in collaboration with the corporate HR team
Responsible for supporting all locations with guidance and execution on talent acquisition for management teams as the business expands and supports high volume local staffing efforts
Develops, improves, and executes processes related to talent acquisition including the selection and hiring, onboarding, compliance, performance management, talent assessment, and other employee lifecycle processes with lean principles in mind
Leads the fostering and administration of diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunity programs
Actively promotes positive employee engagement with a focus on retention of talent
Tracks and analyzes HR metrics & develops/implements appropriate action plans for improvements
Leads performance assessment and associated compensation & individual development activities for the region and in collaboration with operations leadership
Develops and/or Reviews recommendations related to performance management, behavioral issues, corrective actions, policy interpretations, terminations to minimize legal exposure; ensures employment actions are documented appropriately documented and consistent with policies and laws
Coaches and mentors assigned staff, including facilitation or mediation as necessary
Assists in the preparation of the annual budget; monitors human resource budget items for the regional positions
Other duties as required.
Education, Licensing, and Certifications Required :
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related business field required
Education, Licensing, and Certifications Preferred :
- PHR certification preferred
- Seven to ten years of relevant human resources experience, including three to five years of human resource generalist experience, required
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Comprehensive knowledge of human resource rules and regulations at the federal and state level
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of ADP system and payroll rules and regulations
Adept at high volume talent acquisition process and systems
Travel requirement: 50% to 80% domestic travel
- Must submit to drug testing and a background check
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities
Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
